Roku to Develop Original Series Starring Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, Christopher Kimball

As part of its future originals slate and new tools for marketers seeking to target streaming viewers, Roku is expanding its selection of cooking-related entertainment.

In order to better serve marketers trying to reach streaming audiences, Roku is expanding its selection of cooking-related entertainment.

Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, and Christopher Kimball will appear in seven original programmes being developed by The Marquee Brands and Milk Street Studios.

The new programming debuted on Tuesday during Roku's presentation to advertisers for its 2022 NewFronts.

The three Stewart-produced programmes, "Martha Cooks," "Martha Holidays," and "Martha Gardens," as well as "Emeril Cooks," will debut only on the Roku Channel.

More than 3,000 episodes from the vault will be made accessible to stream for free on the Roku Channel as part of the deals.

Roku announced additional new originals coming to the Roku Channel in its first-quarter 2022 earnings release last week. These were previously shown at the NewFronts.

In other news, Roku stated that "The Great American Baking Show," which is based on the U.K. original and will have Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith as hosts, will only be available on the Roku Channel.
