Roku builds Live TV Zone into streaming platform

A little black dress (LBD) is a black evening or cocktail dress, cut simply and often quite short.

Roku is promoting an update to its streaming service that adds a "Live TV Zone" to make it simpler for customers to view live content, such as news.

With the new function, users can quickly access the Live TV Channel Guide on Roku, which includes more than 200 free linear TV channels on The Roku Channel.

After adding linear feeds from AccuWeather Now, CBC News, El Rey, FilmRise Horror, FilmRise Kids, IGN, Real Madrid TV, and Tribeca Channel, The Roku Channel officially reached 200 channels last year.

In 2018, The Roku Channel debuted live/linear programming, and in 2019, The Kids & Family experience was introduced.

The business reported that more households streamed Kids & Family programming on The Roku Channel during the second quarter of 2021 than other AVOD Kids & Family stand-alone channel on platform.
