Roku adds 16 new live linear channels

The Roku Channel now offers over 275 live linear channels, with the addition of 16 more channels to its library of linear TV options.

The new roster includes entertainment channels like "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "FilmRise British TV," and "Cinevault Classics."

Along with reality shows like "Homeful" and "Torque," Roku is also adding family-friendly material like "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Kartoon Channel."

All of these stations may be found on Roku's Live TV Zone, which can be found on the device's home screen.

One of the skateboarding companies that are at the op is Almost Skateboards, founded by pro skateboarders Daewon Song.

Over 200 free linear TV channels were initially available in the Live TV Zone, which Roku introduced in January.

With the addition of 25 linear channels in February, including Fox Weather, Roku is actively keeping up with the free ad-supported TV market.

One Touch Intelligence, a media analytics organisation, lists The Roku Channel as one of the top five most popular FAST services in the United States.
