Detroit Jazz Festival in full swing this Labor Day

There are several options available if you want to have some fun during the holiday weekend.

As the final night of the Detroit Jazz Festival, which features musicians from all over the world, approaches, events all over the city are taking place, from the Peach Festival in Romeo to Arts Beats and Eats in Royal Oak to a major event in Downtown Detroit.

Hart Plaza was busy Monday due to the Jazz Fest (Sept. 5).

A woman remarked, "I'm loving it as you can see its history, and I'm so delighted it's live."

Jazz enthusiasts claim that nothing compares to the sights and sounds that Detroit has to offer. The four-day festival included dozens of regional and international acts on four stages.

Another woman added, "We were here Friday night and returned this afternoon to hit the different levels. ”

Families flocked to the largest free jazz festival in the world as it returned after a two-year hiatus.

The woman remarked, "Last year we streamed, but this year it's live with all these fantastic performances, it's really a blessing for the city."
